蓝草音乐（Bluegrass）是美国乡村民谣音乐的一个分支，它在乡村音乐的基础上，吸收了当地古老的玉米脱粒晚会上的班卓音乐和提琴音乐，以及肯塔基州南部山区的叙事歌曲等因素发展而成。大多数的蓝草音乐给人的感觉是精致、纯正的，并且都带有追忆往事的情愫。蓝草音乐除了使用原声吉他之外，还加上了班卓琴、小提琴、曼陀林、口琴等乐器。这些多样的乐器不仅活脱的表现了乡村生活的样子，还醇厚的展现了乡村多情的一面。
